"Cold Chain and Meat Taiwan" (CMT) is the dedicated B2B event for Asian agriculture, livestock and aquaculture product process industry.

CMT will be co-located with “Asia Agri-Tech Expo & Forum”, “Livestock Taiwan Expo & Forum”, and “Aquaculture Taiwan Expo & Forum, in order to make these four shows as an integrated show for the whole Asian agricultural industry value chain. 

"Cold Chain and Meat Taiwan" exhibition is launched in response to Taiwan government’s policies on industries upgrading and the procurement needs of on-site exhibitors and visitors in Livestock & Aquaculture Taiwan exhibitions to renew and/or refurbish their production equipment.

Market Opportunities:
Taiwan government would like to accelerate livestock product exportation strategically through modernizing traditional slaughterhouse equipment, and intergrading Slaughterhouse, meat processing factory, and logistic. 
However, Taiwan lack of modernizing slaughterhouse, meat processing, and cold chain logistic technologies, which will be great business opportunities for overseas industry exhibitors.

Government Subsidy:

• USD114 million out of USD464 million from “Swine Industry Comprehensive Transformation & Upgrading Plan" for building up cold chain facilities for swine industry
• USD300 million budget for agricultural, livestock, and aquaculture product cold chain and logistic facilities and quality control demonstrating system
• Taiwan urge to import cold chain equipment, services and products from overseas to fulfil industry facilities upgrading
